Event Summary

This immersive program invites people to slow down, breath deeply, reset, disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature and self. Participants will explore the calming, restorative benefits of being present in the forest that reduces stress, enhances mental clarity, and deepens connection of the natural world. Rediscover calm and return to your life refreshed, inspired, and renewed. We will meet at Shelter 2 for a short discussion and then walk into the forest together to forest bathe and return to the shelter for a review of the experience. Join Brenna Dixon a Iowa Master Naturalist and our Hamilton County Conservation Naturalist John Laird on this immersive experience. Feel free to bring a camp chair or blanket to take into the woods or prairie to sit on and nature bathe.
