This is a 152 acre parcel directly west across the Iowa River from the Sac & Fox Overlook. It is accessible through the north boundary of Pine Ridge Park or on the 30' wide (maintenance only) easement from V Avenue. It was purchased from the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation through an Iowa DOT Transportation Enhancement Grant entitled Iowa River Greenbelt Scenic Viewshed Project. The property was formerly owned by David Tharp. There are 34.01 acres of crop ground, 11.48 acres of hay ground and 106.5 acres of timber and grassland. The East side of this property consists of about 3,000 ft. of river which boasts great fishing.

Great fishing from the river as well as 74 acres of woodland accompanied by an additional 77 acres of native prairie. This property is open to the public for use of hunting and other outdoor recreation.
