Shelby Davison, a dedicated educator and passionate gardener, blends her knowledge of native gardening with her artistic talents in Iowa's Native Rainbow. This poetic, illustrated guide offers a creative and inspiring approach to cultivating native prairie plants.

Copies of the book will be for sale for $20, and include a packet of native prairie seed and a signature from Shelby! Already have a copy? For $5 you can get a signature and packet of seeds.
Following this event, there will be a Gardening with Native Plants presentation given by Conservation Staff Jess Wagner & Tony Vorwald at 3:00 PM. Dive into the world of native plants and learn more about the specifics of establishing native species in your garden and landscaping. We will discuss native gardening, several popular wildflowers, give tips and tricks for native gardening, and more. Please bring your questions about gardening with native plants! This event is free and open to all ages.
