Homeschool Series for Middle & High School Students
OCT 12 2026 10:00 AM
Event Summary
Homeschool series for middle and high school students.
Theme for this year: Excellence and Resource Management
Learning and building the processes and habits of excellence sets a strong foundation for life. As we learn and practice the skill sets of excellence, we will select, develop and implement a resource management project in coordination with Jackson County Conservation (JCC). Students will either come up with their own group project or choose one from projects recommended by the JCC staff. It is expected that this will be a student driven collaborative program.
Class meets 10:00-11:30 AM the 2nd Monday of the month from September - May at the Hurstville Interpretive Center.
This program series will be led by Sue Gossman, of ChemRight Laboratories in Maquoketa.
All classes are free and open to any homeschool students in middle or high school.
Registration is required.
Students are welcome to stay after class each month for games and social time.
For questions or to register, email Jess Wagner at jwagner@jacksoncounty.iowa.gov or call (563) 652-3783.
