Maquoketa River Paddle Trip


Event Summary

Enjoy a paddling trip on the Maquoketa River.

All ages welcome (kids must be accompanied by an adult).

We have some canoes and kayaks available or bring your own. Life jackets available to borrow. All participants are required to wear a life jacket on JCC sponsored events.

Registration is required. Shuttling available.

Route: Canton to Royertown (approximately 9 miles).

Arrive at Canton at 9:00 AM. Shuttle Vehicles. Paddle with a lunch stop at a sandbar. Arrive at Royertown around 2:30.

Dress for the weather and paddling. Bring lunch/snacks, water, sunscreen, and hat.
