Event Summary

Fly fishermen have been tying flies to catch fish for a long time. Now, some people tie them just as a way to relax, or as a form of art. We're going to begin this program series by tying one of the simplest and most effective flies, the San Juan Worm. If you plan to fly fish, this is a great fly to have in your fly box. If you want to tie for relaxation or as an art form, this fly teaches some of the basic skills and techniques that you need to be able to tie many different flies.

During this class, we will discuss the history of the fly, tie a few, and discuss how to fish this fly and what species it is effective for. Cost is $15, registration is required, and seats are limited.
