Event Summary

Join a naturalist guided 2.5-mile hike through mostly flat terrain. The hike will be a mixture of mowed grassy trail and natural trail-less land.

The trail may be covered in snow, and may be slick or icy in places. If there is no snow, the trail may be muddy. Walking sticks and/or traction devices for shoes are recommended for anyone who needs extra stability support.

We take photos during our public events. If you do not wish to be in any photos, please send an advance email to the contact listed.

Registration automatically closes one day in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case. **Please note, our pre emails have regularly been sorted into spam/junk mail recently. Check these folders for the pre email.**
