Accessible Great Backyard Bird Count w/Birdability

Event Summary

Join Birdability and Johnson County Conservation for a cozy winter birding program inside the Conservation Education Center. We will provide training on the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC), do some group counts, and enjoy community. This event centers folks with access needs but all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Great Backyard Bird Count is a global community science initiative that helps scientists understand point-in-time statistics about bird populations. By participating in this event you will be contributing important community science data! Wild Birds Unlimited- North Liberty will also provide a presentation on backyard feeding tips.
