Paper Coneflower Workshop
JUN 11 2026 9:00 AM
Event Summary
Each $30 registration fee covers the cost of materials and instruction. In case of cancellation, there is no refund.
Learn how to make coneflowers out of paper! Participants will learn about the materials used in creating paper flower art and will be guided through the creation of their very own beautiful flower to take home. These are crafted from specialty crepe paper and are intended to be a realistic (and enduring) copy of our native wildflowers.
This class will be co-led by paper flower artist Kim Owen and a JCC naturalist.
We take photos during our public events. If you do not wish to be in any photos, please send an advance email to the contact listed.
Registration automatically closes one day in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case. **Please note, our pre emails have regularly been sorted into spam/junk mail recently. Check these folders for the pre email.**
JCC is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities. We welcome and encourage people with disabilities to attend programs and events. Accommodations may be requested by contacting naturalist staff at 319-645-1011 or jccnaturalists@gmail.com
