Wednesday's Wildlife & Wanders - Safari!

Event Summary

Looking for an excuse to explore the outdoors this summer? Join us every Wednesday from June 17 through August 5 as we explore a new wildlife theme or hiking trail each week.

This weeks’ theme: SAFARI! Join a naturalist on a hike around the wild west - the west side of F.W. Kent Park, that is. We will explore the open grasslands of the Knight Prairie. Featuring rolling hills, wildflowers, and watering holes, we promise this Iowan safari is a trek you don’t want to miss!  

Registration automatically closes one day in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.
