Meskwaki Cultural Day: Exploring Traditions (INDOORS)

Wickiup Hill Learning Center, Linn County

Saturday, October 6, 2018

You are invited to experience a celebration of exceptional Meskwaki cultural traditions. Members of the Meskwaki tribe will be performing traditional Meskwaki dances wearing vibrant regalia. There will be authentic Native American games and music, along with other activities and displays that will give you an insight into the culture of the people who lived on this land long ago. We encourage the entire family to come and immerse themselves in this cultural celebration. No registration is required. Cost: $5.00/individual or $10/family. For more information, contact Gail at 319-892-6485.  This program made possible by a grant from the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.

THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD INDOORS, DUE TO THE THREAT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
