Nature lovers, artists, scientists, poets and incessantly curious folks will immerse themselves into various facets of nature journaling.  We hope to inspire you to create a journal that enriches your life through the observation of nature and the wonder in your own mind.  During the span of these 4 evenings, June 5-8, we will make our own charcoal for sketching – we will have one evening each focused upon drawing, writing, and sketching landscapes.  Each evening will be at Wickiup Hill and we will use the trails and surrounding natural areas.  Participants will receive quality colored pencils, drawing pencils, a watercolor kit, a journaling notebook and more to enable your journaling future.  Open to adults ages 16 and up.  Instruction for the drawing / sketching portion will be guided by Lynne Majetic –B.A. in Biological Illustration, the writing - numbers – and nature portion will be covered by LCCD Naturalist Chuck Ungs, and sketching landscapes will be covered by Ted Doscher, LCCD Project Planner – PLA, CPSI.  $120 per person.
