Growing Up Wild Training

Event Summary

Lead children out the door for your own nature explorations! This workshop provides hands-on activities and resources to build on a child’s sense of wonder. Early learning activities use age-appropriate practices and concepts with a focus on math, science, language, literacy, healthy living, play, and creativity. Open to Childcare providers, teachers, program coordinators that work with children ages 3-7. Childcare providers receive 4 hours credit for childcare license renewal approved by Iowa Department of Human Services. Participants will receive a Growing Up WILD: Exploring Nature with Young Children Activity Guide. Hosted in partnership with ISU Extension and Outreach Human Sciences.
