Nature and Conservation Book Club

Event Summary

Want to start reading nature and conservation books but don't know where to start? Mahaska County Conservation is partnering with Mahaska County Master Conservationists to start a nature and conservation book club! We will meet on the third Thursday of every other month to discuss the selected book. The books will be a variety of fiction and nonfiction and will cover a wide range of topics.

For our first meeting, we will be discussing A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold. If you need help finding a copy, you can check at the Oskaloosa Public Library or contact us, as we have a limited number of copies to loan out.
