    You are reserving a Cabin from Mahaska County Conservation Board at Eveland Access Park. All County and State Laws are enforced. Contact the Conservation Office at the above location, by phone or email if you have questions concerning park rules, policies or special requests. 

    By agreeing with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 18 years or older (21 years or older if beer and/or wine are present) and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while using cabins.

    Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.

    Cancellations  

    Notify the Park Office of all cancellations. If you need to cancel a reservation, you will lose 100% of all reservation fees paid. If you contact the Park Office 7 days before your reservation, you are allowed to change reservation dates (limited to twice) to a later date that works best.

     

    Refund Policy

    All reservations with the Mahaska County Conservation Board facilities are final. Reservations are non-refundable unless the following situations occur:

    1.    The National Weather Service has issued severe winter weather conditions and advised against travel.

     

    2.    We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event.

     

    COST

    Peak season / April 1 - December 31. Rate is $140 a night. Off season / January 1 - March 31. $110 a night. 2 night minimum and 3 night minimum for holidays. $20 per night for (1) camper hookup to the cabin (30-amp service) There is a 2-night minimum and 3-nights minimum for holidays.

     

    CHECK-IN TIME: After 3:00 PM on the day of arrival

    CHECK-OUT TIME: By 11:00 AM on day of departure

    GETTING INTO THE CABIN

    The Cabin key is available after 3:00 PM via lock box located next to the front

    door of cabin. Enter the 4-digit code you created when you made the

    reservation.

     

    CLEAN-UP

          You must clean up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you 

          received them. A cleaning checklist is provided inside the cabin.

          Plan to have your facility cleaned and people depart before checkout (11:00 am).

          Paper towels, trash bags, broom, mop and cleaning agents will be supplied in your

          facility to assist you in your cleanup duties. Return key to cabin lock box.

            

    SMOKING
              Smoking is prohibited in the cabins and on the surrounding deck area.

    ALCOHOL
              Keg beer and liquor are prohibited in or around cabins

    PETS
          Pets are prohibited in the cabins.

    PARKING

    Parking is confined to the designated parking areas, no parking or driving off

    roadways.

     

    TRASH

    All trash must be bagged and taken to the dumpsters provided in the area.

    Please do not use the fire ring as a trash receptacle. DO NOT BURN TRASH.

     

     

    LEGAL ACTION

    Failure to clean up the facility as outlined and failure to comply with park

    rules or state laws will result in verbal warnings and possible removal from park

    grounds by Park Staff. Furthermore, Mahaska County Conservation Board may

    take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.

    This cabin is situated in a picturesque and secluded location near the Des Moines River, just 17 minutes from Oskaloosa, IA. It offers comfortable accommodations for up to 6 guests, with a maximum capacity of 10. The cabin features two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and an inviting outdoor deck.

    Reservations for the cabins are made online, 2 nights minimum and 3 nights minimum for holidays and the ability to book up to two years in advance. To secure a reservation, please ensure it is made at least seven days before your arrival. Please note that an additional processing fee of $4 per facility will be applied at checkout.     Full cabin features:

    • 952 square feet of living space
    • Bathroom with a handicap friendly shower
    • Two bedrooms with queen sized beds
    • A sofa bed

    • Television with local over-the-air TV
    • Kitchen with coffee pot, 4 burner stove, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, plates, silverware, cups and pans.
    • In-floor radiant heat and central air
    • Campfire ring and charcoal grill

    • Dog kennel (NO PETS INSIDE CABIN)
    • Electrical hook-up with 30-amp service for one additional RV/camper (additional $20.00 per night)  

    Renter will need to bring:

    • Complete linens, blankets, sleeping bags and pillows
    • Bath linens and toiletries
    • Lawn chairs
    • Food and beverages
    • Firewood

    Mahaska County Conservation Provides:

    • Toilet tissue 
    • Paper towels 
    • Hand towels 
    • Dish soap & hand soap 
    • Cleaning supplies: All-purpose germicidal cleaner for all surfaces, floor cleaner with mop, a broom and dustpan
    • Wastebasket and garbage bags 
    • Cooking utensils, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee pot and toaster. 

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.
