Event Summary

Step into the shoes of prehistoric hunters and take aim with an ancient tool! The atlatl, a powerful spear-throwing device used for thousands of years, helped early people hunt with precision—and now it’s your turn to make history come alive-one throw at time. Participants will explore the fascinating history of the atlatl and get hands-on experience throwing spears. Can you hit the target and prove your hunting skills? This is a free family-friendly event! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Kids ages 8 and up are welcome to throw. All participants are required to where closed toe shoes. (croc type footwear or sandals)

This is a free event and space is limited. Registration is required. If you are unable to attend, please reach out so your space can be opened for others
