Event Summary

Bob Dorr, with his unmistakable lead vocals, and Jeff Petersen, with his 1968 Gibson Flying V guitar, lap steel guitar, and vocals, will again take the stage at the Leonard Grimes Amphitheater. They will entertain you with their sound that can only be described as a blues/soul/rockabilly/reggae/creole/rhythm! Bob Dorr, a successful musician and radio host for over 40 years, has been inducted into Iowa’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Iowa’s Blues Hall of Fame. Jeff Petersen is one of the Eastern Iowa Region’s best guitar players and a founding member of The Blue Band. He has performed for over 40 years and has twice been inducted into Iowa’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.  

At intermission we will dedicate the amphitheater shades to Matt Perkins and his love for music.
