Homeschool Nature Adventures - Prairie Flowers

Event Summary

Join us at the Grimes Farm Conservation Center for a nature program delivered in a flexible format specially designed for kindergarten through fourth-grade students. Programs will engage students with a story, craft, or activity and an outdoor fun component. There is no fee for this program. Prairie Flower Power! Students will explore the colorful world of Iowa’s native prairie flowers through hands-on activities, games, and a short hike. They’ll learn how these plants grow, why they matter, and what makes a prairie special!
