Hawkeye Point
Discover Hawkeye Point in Sibley
Hawkeye Point,at an elevation of 1670 feet above sea level, is the highest point in the State of Iowa. Hawkeye Point was purchased in 2008 by the Osceola County Board of Supervisors in order to make the area available for permanent public use. Present at the site are historical farming displays, information about Osceola County, and an observation deck around Iowa's tallest ear of corn. Across the street from Hawkeye Point is the Hawkeye Point Campground and restroom facilities. Camping is self registration and first come first serve. No reservations.
