Environmental Education
Ringgold County Conservation began actively providing environmental education in 2010 to provide outdoor recreation programming for all Ringgold County citizens. Environmental Education interprets the natural resources of the county, while promoting the conservation and preservation of those areas. RCCB provides monthly programming for the local nursing homes, coordinates with county activities such as the Ringgold County Fair and Ayr Days, and works with other groups such as ISU Extension, NRCS, SIOSA and IDNR, as well as providing programs for school groups of all ages.
The Ringgold County Conservation Board has recently opened their DRAGOON TRACE NATURE CENTER!!
