Relation to Creation

Event Summary

Michael, a member of the Ihanktonwan Oyate (Yankton Sioux) tribe, will share his experience from a Native American perspective in developing a spiritual relationship with all of creation. It will include the sacred ceremony of Azilya (smudging). He will use members of their plant nations and drumming songs during the ceremony. A light snack will be provided, and Michaels paintings and artwork will be featured. Cost is $10 at the door thanks to sponsorship from Sioux County Conservation Foundation.
