Event Summary

Take a bite on the wild side! Join us for a hands-on cooking experience with some of the edible plants found in nature! From delectable dandelion tea to savory stinging nettle pasta, explore how these foods allow you to be nourished through nature! As a group we will prepare a variety of appetizers, allowing you to sample a little of each!

Grab a cooking partner (preferably 14 and over) and register online today by clicking here. Due to the nature of the program, the first 16 adults who register will be able to participate.

The program will be held from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Sandy Hollow Clubhouse just east of Sioux Center. (Vehicle passes for the park will be waived for participants during program time.) This is a free program; however, free will donations are accepted and may be designated to go towards the program or the new nature center.
