There is open air shelter available at Sandy Hollow Recreation Area. Located near waters edge and is available daily from 7 am- 10:30 pm, no overnight use. Shelter is available on a first come first served basis. The shelter makes a great spot to gather for a family picnic, or reprieve from the sun and rain. No overnight use permitted.

Entrance fee's do apply to this area:

Annual vehicle pass- $20 first vehicle, additional passes are $10 per vehicle and must be same household. Must be purchased same day as initial pass. Pass is valid for both Sandy Hollow Rec. Area and Big Sioux Rec. Area.

Day vehicle pass- $5 per vehicle per day.

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after N/A and check-out is before N/A.

Open air shelter with roof, a couple of picnic tables inside for seating. Wall on south and west of structure. Located near campground, swimming beach and open space.
