South of Hwy 30 on R70 [580th Avenue], west on 260th, follow as road curves south then west again. Access is on the north side of 265th. From Ames, go south on 65 to 265th then east 1.75 miles.

This small (1 acre) water trail access on the Skunk River south of Ames offers stream fishing, canoeing, & kayaking. Hiking, walking, bird watching, geocaching, and several other activities are possible however we do not maintain trails nor do we have picnic tables or grills available.
