Shooting Sports Camp (for kids who have completed 6th grade and up)

Event Summary

This camp is for children who have completed 6th grade and up.

June 18th 9:00AM-3:30PM

In this camp we will experience some of the tools that were used for primitive hunting and some tools similar to today’s hunting practices. Campers will learn to use atlatls, sling shots, tomahawks, bow and arrows, and will end camp learning about modern air rifles. This camp is designed to be fun and educational, while also teaching campers safety, and respect.  Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and clothes to be outside all day, including rain gear. Closed- toed shoes are a must! 

No refunds are available for cancellations. If needed, Nature Connect, our service assistance program, provides a discount towards the cost of SCC camping, educational programs, and more. Contact us at 515-232-2516 to discuss.
