Surround yourself with like-minded women for an unforgettable weekend outdoors at Hickory Grove Park (near Ames). Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just starting out, this event is your gateway to outdoor exploration, skill-building, and empowering connections. It's going to be WILD!  This is an 18 and older program. Girls aged 16-17 can attend with a guardian.  Secure your spot today! Spaces are limited, so don't miss out on this enriching experience. We can't wait to have a WILD time with you in the great outdoors!   

Friday, October 9th (optional) 

Friday evening activities will begin at 6:00PM. This is a great way to meet new people and get into the Wild Women vibe. Join us for a Fire Building Challenge and Night Hike.  After we wrap-up, we will host a S'more Potluck, with lots of time to relax and mingle.  Bring your tent and camp with the group! Camping at the park overnight is optional. If you do not have a tent, please reach out- we have a limited number to borrow.  

Saturday, October 10th

Starting at 7:15AM, breakfast will be provided (breakfast burritos, coffee, and some fruit options). Then we will kick off the day at 8:00AM with a welcome and introductions.  Two morning sessions will offer attendees a variety of adventures. Lunch is provided at noon (sandwiches, salads, chips, and drinks).  The afternoon includes two more sessions to round out the day.  Sessions wrap up by 5:00PM. It is then time to pack up and say goodbye!

Detailed information including schedule and session descriptions can be found at the bottom of this page.  We highly encourage you to read through the session descriptions BEFORE you begin registration. Participants will receive a confirmation email to confirm which sessions they are registered in for the event. 

No refunds will be given after September 20, 2026. Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516.
