Hickory Grove offers five open shelters throughout the park.  All open shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis only.


Shelters located on the north side of the lake: 

  • Bob White Shelter
  • Meadowlark Hill Shelter  (electrical outlets available)
  • Goldfinch Hollow Shelter
Shelters located on the south side of the lake:
  • Blue Heron Shelter
  • Plover Bay Shelter

Location Open shelters are located throughout Hickory Grove Park.

Cement floor, roof, picnic tables, and a standing grill are featured at each open shelter.  Carry-in/carry-out refuse policy in place.  Parking in designated areas only.

Fees

Open shelters are not reservable.
