Explore Your Outdoors: Birds

Event Summary

Join Naturalist Jess Lancial as we discover and explore the birds that live at McFarland Park. Through hands on inquiry learning, participants will learn how to identify common birds by sight and sound, understand bird behaviors, and explore different bird habitats. Binoculars and identification books will be available. Snacks and water will not be provided, but please feel free to bring your own.  

This program is designed for persons over 5 years of age.

For any outdoor program, SCC recommends bringing a water bottle, wearing a hat and/or sunblock, using bug spray, and dressing for the weather.  Our outdoor programs are weather dependent and may be cancelled if conditions are not favorable.
