This linked series consists of three instructional kayak sessions (June 15, July 13, and July 20) for those who would like to improve their kayaking skills. The sessions will work on paddling posture, stroke techniques, maneuvering in flat water, and maneuvering in moving water. All the session will include risk management and safety information. All of the sessions will be led by an America Canoe Association (ACA) Level 4 kayak certified instructor.  The first and second sessions will take place on Ada Hayden lake. The third session will take place on the South Skunk River downstream of the rapids at North Valley Park off 13th street. Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. Sunscreen, bugspray, and secured sun glasses/hat recommended, and bring a Water bottle. Kayaks, paddles, and pfds will be provided. Meet at the Kayak access ramp. 

Register by June 1st at 4 pm. 

Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516.
