Event Summary
What will the weather be like in December? Who knows, but it’s sure to be a little wacky. Bring your toddler out to McFarland Park to help them learn about Iowa’s interesting and sometimes crazy weather. This program will include a story, hands-on activities, crafts, and a short hike.
*Accessibility: Program activities will take place inside the nature center and/or in a flat outdoor area outside the center. The short hike will take place on paved or mowed trails.
This program is meant for children 18 months to preschool age (plus an adult for each child). Cost is $7/child. Register before 12/7/26 ensure a spot.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline.
