CAMPSITE RENTAL CONTRACT AGREEMENT

By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the assigned person(s), group, or organization that you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your camping party. 

You are reserving a facility in a Woodbury County Conservation Board park.  ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED.  Violation of park rules and regulations may result in fines, use privileges being rescinded, and forfeiture of reservation fees.

CHECK-IN TIME: After 4:00 p.m. but before 10:30 p.m. on day of arrival.

CHECK-OUT TIME: Before 2:00 p.m. on day of departure.

MAXIMUM LENGTH OF STAY: 14 consecutive days. Must vacate the campground for a minimum of 72 hours after 14 consecutive days of camping.  Booking any days over the 14-day maximum stay is in violation of park regulations and will result in an eviction without refund.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

·       Violation of any state law or county regulation by any member of a camping party is cause for revocation of the camping privilege and the entire camping party may be required to leave the area.

·         Registered camper must be 18 years of age or older and occupy the site for registered term.

·         Camping is permitted only in numbered, designated sites.

·         One family camping unit (6 persons maximum) per site.

·         Campfires are restricted to fire rings/grills and shall be extinguished before vacating campsite.

·         Firewood is available for purchase from the campground office or park staff.

·         Trees and shrubs may not be cut or damaged, nor used for firewood.

·         Keep refuse picked up and deposit in dumpsters.

·         Two vehicles per camping unit; other vehicles and visitors must use designated parking areas.

·         It is unlawful to park any motor vehicle other than in a designated parking area.  Vehicle(s) parked at a campsite where a camping pad is available must be parked on the camping pad, not the roadway or turf.

·         All pets must be kept quiet and on a leash, not exceeding 6 feet in length.  Pets shall not be left unattended outside the camping unit.

·         Quiet hours are 10:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

·         Visitors must leave by 10:30 p.m.

·         Beer and wine consumption is restricted to designated campgrounds and cabins by registered guests only and will not be allowed in other county park and conservation areas.  Hard liquor is prohibited in all county park and conservation areas.  Keg beer is strictly prohibited.

BACKCOUNTRY CAMPSITE INFORMATION:

Backcountry campsites are PRIMITIVE & do not include access to modern amenities, including drinking water or restrooms. Campers are responsible for carrying in and carrying out their own supplies, including drinking water, and the disposal of all human waste. Please bury human waste away from the established campsite and no less than 200-yds from water. ALL TRASH MUST BE CARRIED OUT WHEN YOU VACATE THE CAMPSITE.

•     Campsites are considered occupied when an online reservation has been submitted and the camping fee paid.

•     Due to hunting seasons, campsite is closed October 15th through May15th.

•     Each backcountry site is outfitted with a gravel tent site(s) and fire ring with a grill.

•     Please place tents on designated tent pads only.

•     Campers are permitted to harvest deadfall wood from the ground for burning but may not cut down or damage live trees.

•     Firewood is available for purchase from the campground office or park staff.

•     No fires are permitted outside fire rings.

•     Fires shall be extinguished before vacating campsite.

•     All non-registered guests must leave the park by 10:30 p.m.

•     All other Woodbury County Conservation Board rules apply.

Cancellation Policy

Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation.

RESERVATION MODIFICATIONS (INCLUDING DATE CHANGE)

Requests for any modification to an existing reservation must be made at least three weeks prior to the original reservation date.  If the request is for a date change, the new date must be within twelve months of the existing date.  A reservation holder has only ONE opportunity to reschedule their original reservation.  All reservation modifications must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (712) 258-0838.   

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you need to cancel a reservation, YOU MUST DO SO AT LEAST THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE ORIGINAL RESERVATION DATE OR YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.   Please call the Woodbury County Conservation Board Office at (712) 258-0838 to cancel your reservation.

Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

If you cancel your reservation at least three weeks before the original reservation date, you may receive a gift certificate/coupon code for a future reservation of equal value. 

If the Woodbury County Conservation Board is unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event, a full refund will be issued.
