Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Regular work week will be 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with some flexibility for weekends and special events. Aides will assist in all aspects of park management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to routine area and facility maintenance.
Ability to use heavy equipment, hand and power tools, and sufficient stamina to work in adverse weather conditions. Perform strenuous physical tasks including lifting & bending. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. The ability to follow written and oral instructions, and to interact with the public and promote good will.
Qualifications
Prefer someone working towards a degree in a natural resource field; parks and recreation, biology, fish and wildlife management, etc. Must be able to operate tractors, mowers, and chainsaws. Must be at least 18 years old.
