Description
Winneshiek County Conservation is accepting applications for a permanent, full-time Education and Outreach Coordinator position.

Description: This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing environmental education and outdoor recreation programs for youth, adult, and general public groups. Also responsible for public relations and marketing activities, including but not limited to: developing and coordinating special events and projects, news articles, displays, brochures, website design and maintenance, social media content, and other educational materials. As well as assists the Conservation Director with planning, budgeting, and development; and coordinates fundraising, grant writing, and marketing. Performs other job-related duties as necessary and/or assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in environmental education, environmental studies, outdoor recreation, or a related natural science field is required.
Other Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year interpretation or classroom teaching experience required. Ability to obtain and maintain Class D3 Chauffeurs license and possess a satisfactory driving record (verified). CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain. Background check prior to employment.
Salary: $52,767.34 with county benefits.
