Description
This position, under the direction of the Fayette County Executive Director, assists with developing, organizing, and presenting the Fayette County Conservation Board’s education program. The Environmental Educator role educates the public about the county’s natural environment and promotes environmental responsibility and stewardship by presenting programs in schools, at county facilities and other public settings. This position will provide administrative support for the department’s operations as Office Assistant. A two-year college degree and one year experience in conservation, natural resources, or education field is required. Must have a valid Iowa driver's license, be insurable by the county’s insurance policy, and must successfully complete a post-offer job-related medical examination.
