Seasonal Naturalist

Salary: $12-14/hour Position Description: Help us continue to expand our growing environmental education program here in Adair County! This seasonal position will serve approximately mid-May through August. Start and end dates are flexible for this summer position.  Employee will work an average of 30 hours per week and will include some evenings and weekends. Applicants must be 18 years old and maintain a valid driver’s license. This job is a great resume builder for someone going into the education or conservation field!

Duties: Plans, develops, coordinates, and presents environmental education and interpretive programs for schools, youth and adult groups, and the general public. Plan and conduct summer day camps for youth.  Plan and conduct public education programs and volunteer service-learning activities.   Assist staff with routine habitat management and park maintenance. Participate with public informational activities as assigned.
