Description
Serves under the supervision of the Park Ranger or Naturalist. Carries out a variety of general park maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, weed control, tree planting, trail maintenance, building and restroom maintenance, litter control, campground maintenance, equipment maintenance, public relations, collecting fees, closing park and other duties as assigned. Operates a variety of hand and power tools, mowers, tractors, and various other power equipment. May require working from a ladder.
Nights, weekends, and some Holidays required. We prefer applicants to be 18 or older, but may make exceptions for the right candidate.
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license. Experience with mowers, string trimmers, power tools, tractors and light trucks helpful, but not required. A standard County physical is required prior to employment (paid by County)
