Description
The Audubon County Conservation Board is looking to fill a full time Maintenance Tech/Cabin Manager position. While the Maintenance Tech was open, we decided to add the managing the cabin complex to the responsibilities of this position. A cabin project that includes 6 single family cabins and one large loft cabin has been under construction over the last 5 years. In April of 2025 this project will be fully open for rentals. This position will be responsible for building and grounds maintenance of the cabin complex. This person will make sure cabins are clean and ready for rental as well as conducting walk thru inspections of the facilities when renters are ready to check out. This position will also be involved with routine grounds and building maintenance at Littlefield Recreation Area and various trail systems under the management of the Audubon County Conservation Board. The individual in this position will have to operate mowers, tractors, back-hoe, sprayers, chain saws and other power tools. Most of the work will be outdoors and heavily influenced by Mother Nature.
Qualifications
Graduation from a 4 year college or university in park management or a related conservation field is preferred, or an Associates Degree in a park management field with relative work experience will also be accepted.
