The Pottawattamie County Conservation Board is announcing a hiring process for the position of Naturalist. This is a full-time, non-exempt position and is based out of the Hitchcock Nature Center. Pottawattamie County is an equal opportunity employer.

Essential Job Duties:
The Naturalist is responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, promotion and presentation of Pottawattamie County Conservation Board’s (PCCB) environmental education and interpretive programs with focus on natural resources, the environment, science, technology and other similar areas. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Environmental Education, Nature Interpretation, Environmental Science or related field required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- CPR and basic first aid certification required within a time frame established by the employer.
· Applicant must successfully pass pre-employment screenings which includes drug screen and background check.
