Description
DESCRIPTION:
Spring/summer position under the supervision of the naturalist providing and
preparing environmental education programs.
Other duties include facilitation of summer nature
camps, program development for the Louisa County Fair, public programming development and presentation throughout the county, some maintenance work, exhibit work, and newsletter preparation. Must be
willing to work some nights and weekends that will be scheduled at the beginning of your term of employment. Position can start as early as May 1st and end in August, start and end dates are flexible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer working towards a two or four year degree with major course work in
environmental education, education, interpretation, recreation or natural
resources. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to
handle strenuous physical activities including river and lake paddling.
PAY: $12 per hour; no benefits, no housing available.
