Description
General duties and responsibilities:
Participate in daily maintenance tasks in county areas such as mowing, trimming, painting, etc.
Explain regulations and recreational opportunities for area users in a clear, concise, and courteous manner.
Provide for safety of area visitors; administer first aid if needed.
Maintain neat personal appearance.
Adhere to agency policy and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Work weekends, holidays, and other irregular hours as assigned.
30 - 40 Hours per week.
May have to work some holidays and weekends.
Qualifications
Interest in conservation, recreation, park management, biology, wildlife biology, forestry or other natural science preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess valid driver’s license. Certification in First Aid and CPR desired.
