Description
Henry County is seeking a full-time Naturalist. Duties shall include organizing, developing, coordinating, and representing quality environmental educational programs to the residents of Henry County and visitors. Researches, develops, prepares, and presents programs, speeches, and special events to various groups. Conducts research, designs, and develops written educational materials and displays related to conservation and natural resources. Researches and drafts the department’s quarterly newsletter; creates promotional brochures, news releases and informational flyers. Assists in the care of animals in the nature center and outdoor animal classroom.
Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science degree in the natural sciences from an accredited four-year college or university and one year of experience in professional conservation, education, or natural science work involving coordination and dissemination of informatio
