Description
Full-time seasonal position under general supervision of the Director and direct supervision of the Operations Manager based out of Swede Point Park in Madrid, IA. Performs mowing, weed eating, land management, trail maintenance, cleaning of facilities, facility and park maintenance, public relations, interaction with park visitors and other jobs as assigned. Preferred experience in operation of equipment such as mowers, trimmers, skid loaders, tractors, chain saws and hand tools. Willing to work a nonstandard work week with some night, weekend and holiday work may be required. May assist the county Naturalist when needed with recreational or educational programming.
This is a seasonal position running from approximately May to September and will not exceed 40 hours per week.

Qualifications
Must be 17 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Background check and drug test may be required. The ability to routinely lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions. The ability to operate and assist with the maintenance.
