Description
The Audubon County Conservation Board is looking to fill a six month seasonal maintenance tech position at Littlefield Recreation Area. The approximate time period for this position will be from the middle of April thru the middle of October. This position will also perform regular trail maintenance on the T-Bone Trail. This person must work well with others and get along well with the public. Must be able to lift and move 75 pounds. The person will be involved with maintenance, repair, and care of park grounds, facilities and equipment. The custodial of park bathrooms, shelters and grounds. Have the ability to operate tractors & implements, commercial mowers, backhoe, small engines, chains saws, power tools, hand tools. Proper operation and maintenance of vehicles. The applicant must have a valid drivers license. The salary for this position will be $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience. May call (712) 268-2762 if you have questions. Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years by the start date. Posses the basic understanding of how to safely operate tractors, mowers, power tools, chain saws, wood chipper and other equipment. Must have a valid motor vehicle operators license.
