Description
The positions will range between 12-14 weeks during the summer months and will average 40 hours per week. The positions may include some evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include but are not limited to operating mowing equipment, tractor work, chainsaws, power tools, light construction, and general park maintenance. Experience in grounds maintenance or construction work is helpful. Persons pursuing an education in a natural resource field are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age, possess a valid Iowa Driver’s License, and be eligible for coverage under the County Motor Vehicle Policy. Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy objects, and long periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
