Vintage Summer Camp (Ages 11-16)

Come out to Big Woods Lake Campground for an overnight camp filled with campfire cooking, songs around the campfire, kayaking, fishing, bracelet making, fire building and tie dyeing - just like summer camps of old!
Kids will arrive at camp on Thursday night around 4.30pm and get picked up on Friday at 7pm.
This is a co-ed overnight camp. A packing list will be sent to the email address attached to your MyCountyParks registration. Please include any dietary restrictions in the comment section when registering and on the Youth Program Waiver.

All registrations must be done online and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187 and we will help you. ·
Prior to the program, registration materials and waiver must be completed for each participant and turned into the nature center. These materials can be emailed to gcallaway@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov or sent to 657 Reserve Drive Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613
Children can be dropped off starting 10 minutes prior to the start of camp and must be picked up with 15 minutes after the end of camp. If a child needs to be dropped off/picked up earlier/later, please contact Katie at kklus@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov.
Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
