The Cedar County Conservation Board is located in east-central Iowa and is home to Cedar Valley and Bennett Parks. The Cedar CCB manages 16 parks, wildlife areas and timbers encompassing 920 acres throughout Cedar County. The Cedar County Conservation Board offers a variety educational programs throughout the year for schools, youth groups, scouts, clubs, church groups, and service organizations. The mission of the Conservation Board's Environmental Education Program is to increase the communities appreciation for and understanding of our natural resources. This objective can best be reached through quality educational and recreational opportunities that are available and appealing to all ages.
