Winter Activities at Shellrock River Greenbelt and Preserve
The North Iowa Snow Seekers maintain a 7.5 mile groomed snowmobile trail through the greenbelt and preserve. Snowmobiles are not allowed on any other Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board Areas and must remain on the designated trail.
Locations
The greenbelt is accessible from 295th Street south of Wilkinson Park and Highway 122 west of Nora Springs. It is also accessible from the Preserve on Yucca Avenue between 290th and 280th Streets.
