Woodcock Walk

Join us to learn about the American Woodcock as we listen and look for their mating sky dance ritual as we walk along the trails at Whitewater Canyon. This small, camouflaged woodland bird amazes spectators with its aerial acrobatics during mating season.

We'll take a short walk to find these birds during sunset. 

Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring a headlamp/flashlight, and binoculars.

This event is open to everyone from the public and a great family event.
