Building Better Birders – Feeder Birds of Iowa Workshop .  

Join Ringgold County Conservation for a Building Better Birders Citizen Science Workshop! This will be the 1st of 4 workshops held in Ringgold County for the group Building Better Birders! We are so excited to partner with this top of the line educational group to bring these remarkable programs to Ringgold County.  

Our 1st installment will include an interactive bird hike and presentation of Feeder Birds of Iowa!  

9:00 am - Welcome 9:15 am - Interactive Bird Hike

11:00- Noon - Catered Meal ($10.00)

Noon - 1:30 pm - Feeder Birds of Iowa Presentation

1:30- 2:00 pm - Questions, Comments and Survey  

Funding for this workshop was provided by the Resource Enhancement and Protection- Conservation Education Program. (REAP CEP)   This workshop will be conducted by Kelly McKay (BioEco Research and Monitoring Center), with assistance from Mark Roberts (Clinton County Conservation) and Brian Ritter (Nahant Marsh Education Center).  

This program is FREE and appropriate for all ages! Lunch will be served by the delicious local café Jamie’s Coffee Mill for $10.00/person. Registration is required and space is limited.
