Anders Wildlife Area


Nestled southeast of Iowa Falls is the 229-acre Anders Wildlife Area. The former farm of Ernest and Marjorie Anders was purchased by the Hardin County Conservation Board in the late 1990’s. Majority of the property consists of native prairie, with some timber bordering the Iowa River. The ground is teaming with wildlife and native plants. Hunting is permitted with the south portion being closed to pheasant hunting.
